Nukote to Open New Manufacturing Facility to Handle Significant Growth in North American Market
Rochester, N.Y., November 26, 2007 – Nukote International, a leading producer of aftermarket printing supplies, announced today that it is opening a new manufacturing facility to meet the increasing needs of the growing North American market.
“Nukote has experienced tremendous growth over the past year in North America and we expect that growth to continue. We are excited that this new facility will provide us with the additional manufacturing capacity to handle these increased volumes,” said Ron Baiocchi, Nukote’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
The new facility will be located in Monterrey, Mexico. Its initial size will be 105,000 square feet, and it will expand to 180,000 square feet by the middle of next year. Preparations are already underway for the startup. Production will be underway early in 2008.
“Besides helping us meet the sharply rising demand for our products, this new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility also will give us greater flexibility to better serve our customers in North America,” Baiocchi noted.
The facility will produce remanufactured imaging supplies for Nukote’s own brand, as well as for a variety of private label brands that Nukote produces for its customers.

This new, world-class facility will help us do that,” said Baiocchi. He noted that the new facility “will allow us to be fast, flexible and highly responsive to the changing needs of our North American customers.”
Along with the new plant, Nukote will continue manufacturing in China, as well at the company's existing facilities in Connellsville, PA, Rochester, NY and Franklin, TN. Nukote currently has plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities in Rochester, Baiocchi said.
