Nukote’s Commitment to Protecting the Earth Continues with the Purchase of Renewable Energy
Rochester, N.Y., August 27, 2008 – Nukote International, Inc. has furthered their commitment to the environment with the purchase of clean, renewable energy. Nukote’s purchase of 1,512 MWh of wind generated electricity offsets 6% of their electricity needs and places them in the growing pool of EPA green power partners.
The environmental benefits derived from the 1,512 MWh of wind energy are estimated to be the equivalent to offsetting 1,372,896 pounds of carbon dioxide. (Environmental benefits based on Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC) calculations.)

Nukote made this clean energy purchase through the New Wind Energy program available through Rochester, Gas and Electric with the help of Community Energy, Inc.
