Long before computers or printers existed, long before anyone even heard of the term “imaging,” the story of Nukote had already begun. A young man’s idea to save businesses time and effort became the first workable adding machine, in 1885.
The company he founded became Burroughs Corporation, a leading maker of calculators, typewriters and ribbons. It grew in size and expertise, adding magnetic ink recognition, carbon coating, even computers to its lineup. In 1964, part of Burroughs was named Nukote and the Nukote brand of print supplies first entered the marketplace.
By the time Nukote became an independent company in 1987, it had already built a foundation that few imaging companies could match. Since then, Nukote has established itself as the premium manufacturer of Earth-friendly aftermarket imaging supplies.
